Hair and Make up By Alexa is committed to delivering excellence. If you are unsatisfied with your haircut or colour, please inform us within seven days (one week) of your hair appointment. We will make the required adjustments to your hair without a fee. No refunds will be given for services.
Consultations are a vital part of our hairdressing service. This is where the magic begins so please bring pictures to help us with your inspiration. Consultations are complimentary and you can expect a quote for services prior to commencement. . Nevertheless, you have to understand that you could not look exactly like a picture in order that a picture has no movement and fake lighting and is not representing the reality of an everyday colour variation or haircut.
COLOUR, BLEACH, HIGHLIGHTS, FORM SERVICES
When booking a technique or form service, please acknowledge and understand that my hairstylist will have to use pre-lightening product into my hair and could result in hair damage and breakage. Your Hairstylist will recommend hair products to resolve any damage or breakage and if you are not using professional products your hair will look dry, unhealthy and damaged. The professional products are to be used understanding that it will not revert your hair condition to virgin hair condition. The previous use of packet colour will impact on your desired results in term of colour and haircut. Your hairdresser is not responsible for the previous colour application or use of packet colour on your hair.
Please, understand all the consequences and commitment of changing your hair colour and do not discriminate, devaluate, write bad reviews or negative comments on any social media or Google, the sensible way will be to contact us to rectify the issue when possible. Which might occur in additional services surchage.
To avoid disappointment, please book up to two weeks in advance or make future bookings at the end of each service. We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent 24 hours prior to your appointment. No-shows or any cancellations will be required to pay deposits for all future appointments. Bridal party bookings (2 clients or more) require a 50% deposit upon booking confirmation. The hairstylists are doing their maximum to keep every guests happy and provide a consistent and equal service to each guest. Please be mindful of your surroundings and be patient, we might run not on time and you might have to wait. Please wait in a sensible manner, if you need to be out by a certain time let your hairstylist know about it.
PRICING & QUOTES
Our price structure reflects the educational level and technical experience of our stylists and colourists. All prices are in $AUD and are subject to change without notice. For accurate pricing, please request a complimentary in salon consultation. All quotes sent via email, phone, Facebook and/or Instagram are estimates only and may not be the final price for services required. If you require a more accurate quote, please book a complimentary consultation.
Hair and Make up By Alexa provides a complimentary dry-off service for clients having colour services. A dry-off is not the same as a blow wave which is a styling service. A dry-off simply removes moisture from the hair and enables colourists to see how the colour looks on the client’s hair. If you require your hair to be styled a certain way, please book an appointment for a blow wave.
We understand that things come up! Please do your best to reschedule 48hours before your appointment. No-shows and last-minute cancellations can impact other clients who want to book appointments with us! 48 hours cancellation notice is required to avoid the full amount of your deposit due to non-attendance.
Please be mindful of your parking time restrictions as Hair and Make UP by Alexa cannot be responsible for any parking fines obtained whilst in the salon.
Hair and Make UP by Alexa requires full payment on completion of your appointment. We accept cash, direct debit, Visa, Mastercard
PRODUCT EXCHANGE POLICY
We do not provide refunds for products of any kind, however if a product is faulty then we will exchange it. This does not apply to electricals such as ghd styling irons. ghd warranty is provided by ghd.
Whilst utmost care is taken, Hair and Make UP by Alexa no responsibility for damage incurred to garments or personal items whilst in our salons.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Hair and Make UP by Alexa reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behaviour to any member of our staff.
PACKAGE SERVICES & PROMOTION
Colour package services are with selected Hair and Make UP by Alexa team members only. Appointments are subject to availability. . Not valid in conjunction with any other offer, discounts or promotions. If you are unsatisfied with your colour package service, please inform us within seven days (one week) of your hair appointment. We will redo your hair and make the required adjustments without a fee. No refunds will be given for colour package or promotion services unless approved by Alexa. Strictly non-transferrable. Non-redeemable for cash. Hair and Make UP by Alexa reserves the right to cancel colour package services and promotions at any time.
Students and pensioners are entitled to a 20% discount on Hair and Make UP by Alexa services and 30% discount on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A valid student ID must be presented to redeem this offer. Not valid with any other promotion, discount or offer. Non-redeemable for cash.
Fringe trims are complimentary to existing hair and make up by Alexa clients, provided they have visited the salon for an appointment.
